Course Description
Effective activism begins with clear vision and effective speech. Martin Luther King Jr. and Gandhi readily come to mind when we look to those who have been significant in social change movements. Explore what made these individuals so compelling and how we might apply similar tactics to present day issues whether we’re addressing organizational, political or environmental concerns. Using the Nonviolent Communication (NVC) model, formulate a powerful message relevant to your own life and be given an opportunity to deliver it.
